Thesis Project Proposals 2025 – 2026

Below you can find the topic proposals from various companies, organizations, and institutions that would be interested in collaborating with you during your thesis.

Cases are described to have a particular objective that is relevant for the stakeholder, however, they can change to incorporate a different angle of research that is necessary to you.

End-to-end automation with intelligent agents

The battle for the future workforce is on. The additional workforce demand in 2030 is approximately three times greater than the growth in the labor force in Denmark. This means that in the future, we need to use resources even more efficiently while making it meaningful to go to work.

At Droids Agency, we are involved in the Technology Partnership (Teknologipartnerskabet), where the Association of Local Governments (KL) and 33 municipalities have joined forces to innovate processes and scale new technological solutions that can free up time and enhance welfare in Denmark. Part of the project also involves exploring how modern IT solutions using Artificial Intelligence (AI) can contribute to efficiency and meaning for employees in their daily work.

The thesis project involves development of methods, analyzing and mapping selected end-to-end processes and then investigating how these processes can be reimagined and supported with new technological solutions, including AI and other automation methods, such as ChatGPT. This could include processes like Onboarding, Building Permit Processes, and planning citizen visits, among others. There is an opportunity to develop prototypes in the project using technology from companies like Microsoft, OpenAI etc.

GenAI model capabilities within data wrangling

Data wrangling has been an important process of transforming the data from its raw state to a format that fits a particular objective. Each part of the process – discovering, structuring, cleaning, enriching, validating, publishing – normally requires more time from a human than the analysis they conduct afterwards.

As it is an intricate and time-consuming process, there is an interest to reduce the overall load of the transformation period and enable its contents for analysis more efficiently. However, research is needed to understand how accurately and efficiently large language models are evolving to address these matters.

This thesis project involves working with various available GPT models within OpenAI, Claude models from Antrophic, and Gemini models from Google with the purpose of analyzing their capabilities as tools within the individual parts of the data wrangling process.

Ørestad and the importance of a 15-minute city

Ørestad is a newer district that aims to becoming a sustainable urban environment, with a particular focus of becoming a 15-minute city. This requires careful consideration of the neighborhood residents’ accessibility to their daily needs – employment, education, healthcare, commerce, and leisure – through a means of walking and cycling.

3Insights uses anonymized data from 3’s network, which can be used as an analysis tool, when studying people’s movement patterns, within 99% accuracy.

This thesis project involves working with Pinpoint data, that has been procured using stratified extrapolation of the traffic withing telecommunication network, specifically in the Ørestad region. The task will be analyzing the data and deducing the district’s heterogenous groups and their current lifestyles when it comes to mode of transport. Thus, to understand the potential of Ørestad through the 15-minute city lens.
